Scotts Farm Camping Site

A large, open campsite split into 5 fields, electric hookups are rather regimetally arranged but grass pitches are all large fields. I was there off peak so it wasn't busy so things could be very different in peak season. Facilities were OK but, as said, it wasn't busy. Showers were good, if a little small. Just one hook to hang your stuff on, barely out of splash range, and somewhere to put your showgel would be nice. Location is excellent. Easy walk to East Wittering village, where there's a Tesco Express and Co-op, and a few other shops, plenty of fish and chip shops, a couple of restaurants and a pub. The beach is also on a ten minute walk. Be aware, the excellent sandy West Wittering Beach is just over a mile away, so you're probably still going to drive there. The beach at East Wittering is stoney, except at low tide possibly so, if that's important to you, now you know. Overall the campsite was fine but I wonder what it's like in peak season, I feel it might struggle given its overall size and the limited facilities, but I don't know and happily give them the benefit of the doubt.

Our first visit to this fantastic site , reception staff were very helpful regarding the area and where to eat/drink , large pitches that easily fit our 7m motorhome with about 2m odd to spare , due to the size they plenty of ehu spaces spread out in either of the main fields which you could then choose from once you had taken a look , showers etc all nice and clean/cleaned regular through the day bit could do with a slight update and maybe some more hooks/shelf . Location wise its a 10 min stroll into the village which has everything you could need so pack light and use the butcher as its superb . We will be returning for sure !!

Unfortunately I have to agree with other commitments, its become a money greedy camping site. I came with an unwritten vw transporter panel van which is actually my only vehicle. I had to pay for the tent and van for 2 nights which was £160, the other option was to park my van off site but I came with my 8 year old so its not ideal. It didn't used to be like this, I've been coming to Scott's for 15 years but I doubt I'll come again.

Great spacious campsite located a few minutes from the sea and shops. Service without fault and everything is clean and tidy. They don't take bookings so a bit apprehensive as didn't know if there would be space but theres is loads so no need to worry!
