About Shaw Hill Hotel Golf And Country Club
Along Preston Road on the edge of Chorley, Shaw Hill Hotel Golf And Country Club occupies a stretch of Lancashire countryside built around its own golf course, giving the whole estate an open, green setting away from the town centre. The grounds include a garden and outdoor seating area, so there's space to sit outside as well as play a round.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, and family and accessible options are available, along with drinks in room and room service for those who'd rather not leave. A bridal suite makes the hotel a working wedding venue too, alongside meeting rooms and business services for other events. Food covers a restaurant, bar and snack bar, with breakfast, packed lunches and kids' meals all catered for.
Guests have use of an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa or sauna on site, plus concierge services and luggage storage for practical needs. Beyond the golf course itself, the surrounding area offers fishing, further restaurants and pubs, and other entertainment nearby, making it a reasonable base for a golf-focused stay or a quieter countryside break near Chorley.
