What visitors say
Went for a holiday that was about a week long. Our place was very tidy. The beds were quite small but was manageable. The activities and food were a little bit pricey but there was a beach nearby so there was still lots of fun that could be had. Overall, a good experience so I'd definitely come again.

My husband and I were offered the chance of a caravan break. I had read some of the previous reviews and was concerned it would not be very nice. However we were pleasantly surprised , the caravan was a two berth on G area and it was lovely and , clean and with comfortable beds. The grounds were very well kept, we didn’t notice any litter anywhere . The staff were all friendly and welcoming. The bar, food and entertainment area was very nicely decorated and kept clean. Big screen out side where people were watching football. There is also a nice little amusement arcade which was good for the kids there. We didn’t visit the pools so unable to pass comment on that. We would definitely stay there again.

We booked here for a family holiday as the price was extremely reasonable. It was incredible value for money. Whilst it is unlikely that we would return due to the surrounding area being heavily Reform leaning, the site did not appear to allign with this and felt like an inclusive haven. I have to shout out the entertainment team who are some of the hardest grafters I have seen. Its a long shift and their energy made our holiday. As an ex performer myself, I know how exhausting that must be but oh my goodness they didnt miss a single beat. I hope this feedback reaches them. Total stars! My eldest boy said he was going to miss the "funny guys" most! The bar staff were mostly lovely and friendly with the exception of one of whom im not sure customer facing roles are right for. However once her collegue rolled her eyes at her reaction to my legit question I realised that she was an anomaly. Everyone else was brilliant and extremely helpful. The pool is fab! Plenty to do for all levela of swimmers. The food is overpriced and very basic but fine if you just need something to grab before a food shop on ypur first day. The caravan was very clean and cosy although could benefit from some lamps or low level lighting for the evenings. All in all we had an incredible time and if Count Binface wins the next polls we will be back! Haha!

I have come away from Martello beach caravan park with mixed feelings, the caravan was definitely not gold plus, my sons had terrible sleeps on them single beds, 1 kept moving back & forward. The restaurant was pricey, we had two meals there, one being the breakfast, the bacon was so bland & was not enjoyable. Toast was the only decent part, the tables were sticky & tea was served inside restaurant in a paper cup, Andrew in making the bear activity was a nice young chap, but most of the staff in my eyes were not welcoming or friendly, when I tried being friendly they looked at me strange. The swimming pool a young boy pood all near the baby pool & splash zone so that was off putting. I would say the thing I liked about this site is where it’s based, you are near Seawick & Clacton. Probably will try seawick next time.

People say this holiday park offers clean and spacious caravans, and is conveniently located near the beach and local attractions.
Other reviews mention the site can be poorly maintained and the caravans can have a strong odor.
