We had a lovely family stay overall and would definitely consider returning. We stayed from Monday to Friday to celebrate my daughters 8th birthday. Our Gold Standard 2-bedroom caravan was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with cooking facilities, a microwave, and a fridge freezer. The TV is a standard one rather than a Smart TV. Wi-Fi is available but comes at an extra cost (from £8 per day for up to six devices). Our booking included entertainment passes, bedding, and electricity, which was great value. It got a little chilly in the evenings, but the heating worked well. The children's play area next to the clubhouse was fantastic, and the arcade was fun and reasonably priced. The highlight of the holiday was seeing the children make new friends and have such a great time. Parking was easy, with spaces available in nearby car parks or on the roads close to the caravans. The welcome pack containing a sponge, cloth, washing-up liquid, and a bin bag was a nice touch. The location is excellent. Jaywick Beach is only a 6-minute drive away via the sister park at St Osyth, where you can also use the facilities. Clacton-on-Sea is around 15 minutes away, and Colchester Zoo is about a 38-minute drive. Just a short walk from the park is a small Funland with an arcade, burgers, and seafood, while Morrisons and Aldi are only 10 minutes away by car. There were a few downsides. The entertainment wasn't the best, and many of the children's activities, such as slime making, tie-dye, pottery, and wax hands, started from around £7 each, which can become expensive for families. The swimming pool has one slide, but the water is 1.2 metres deep throughout, making it difficult for younger children or less confident swimmers. The changing rooms and toilets could also do with a much deeper clean. Swimming sessions last 45 minutes and must be booked 24 hours in advance. The on-site shop is very expensive—a tea towel costing £4.75 gives you an idea of the prices. We also found that keeping the windows open in the warm weather meant lots of flies came into the caravan. My only real disappointment was check-out. Check-out is at 11:00 am, but reception called at 10:35 am asking if we'd already left. As we still had plenty of time, it made us feel unnecessarily rushed. Overall, this is a great base for a family holiday, especially if you're planning to explore the local area. With a few improvements to the entertainment, swimming facilities, and check-out experience, it would easily be a 5-star stay. Top tip: Bring fly spray, mosquito repellent, a tea towel, and plan your meals in advance to make the most of the self-catering facilities.

Entertainment is great during the summer for both adults and kids. But also lovely during other seasons if youre looking for a quiet place to stay by the sea. Safe park, lovely staff. Arcade & park both next to main entertainment, shop is attached too so not far to travel. Only downside is there isnt a 3 bed with decking available here unless you privately book. Food in restaurant is nice with reasonble pricing. Everything else is great so we've been coming here for years.

Do not go there if you want a nice calm peaceful holiday. We had young kids running around at 2 in the morning playing knock down ginger throwing stones at the caravan doors ,car sounding there horns early hours of the morning litter everywhere fast electric bikes and quads up and down all day long very dangerous for pensioners and families with young kids.We spoke to the manager about this she wasn't interested and gave the excuse that it's the summer holidays and they cant be responsible for what parents children do.Do not buy or rent a caravan at seasick if you expect a decent holiday with a good night's sleep park management have no control over anything couldn't wait to go home will be taking this matter further

At first I was a bit hesitant about going after reading the reviews. When I arrived to pick and drop off the keys, the lovely young lady was very polite and called later to ask if everything was okay. We was very impressed with the entertainment! Our kids loved it, being on the dance floor all night. The food and drinks were great, lovely staff, the beach was close by. Our caravan was a bit small considering we needed to fit a cot in our bedroom but ended up putting it in the sitting room due to space. Very clean, tidy and the area we got was very quiet! The only disappointments were the toilets in the bar wasn’t cleaned or checked enough. My partner had a broken foot and he fell over twice on his crutches due to the male toilets being flooded. Tissue everywhere. Shop staff were a bit rude too. People were vaping in the clubhouse, around kids which was a shame and security didn’t seem interested. But overall, we felt sad about leaving our holiday! Would definitely go back again.
