About Platt's Farm Camping
With the north Wales coast on one side and Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park on the other, plus the A55 close by for easy access to both, Platt's Farm Camping occupies an enviable position for a break packed with variety. This small family-run site has just a couple of glamping units in the grounds of a Grade II listed Victorian farm on the edge of Llanfairfechan, where a pebble-and-sand beach is ten minutes' walk away. National Cycle Route 5 passes nearby, while heritage railways, castle visits and countless outdoor pursuits fill the menu of possible days out.
Back at base, each glamping unit has its own dedicated washroom, and there's a large open barn for cooking and dining alfresco even when the weather turns. Spacious pitches, spotless facilities and a peaceful atmosphere earn consistent praise, as does the enclosed dog paddock – perfect for letting your four-legged friend stretch their legs. Fire baskets can be hired for evening warmth, and the friendly owners help ensure everything runs smoothly. Pubs, takeaways and a couple of mini supermarkets are all within a short walk.

What visitors say
Platts farm is a traditional relaxed Welsh campsite with electric pitches on a grassy area surrounded by handy barns to shelter if raining. Picnic benches are available under the barn, two clean showers and 4 toilets.primarily an adults site as there is no specific play area.for children but they are not excluded. Fire pits are available to hire and they have a walled garden for backpackers with walkers welcome philosophy, very handy if walking the Welsh coastal path as booking is not always needed. Card have to parked in the centre of the field on hardstanding which is great for packing and unpacking, whilst protecting the grass pitches. Bus route to Bangor and Conwy just outside the site (number 5) Would definitely recommend.loads to keep you busy in the area.

Super little campsite. Well cared for, with great, flat pitches for tents. Other facilities (showers, toilet block, etc) were quality and in good order. Shops, including a Co-op, and a pub less than 10 minutes walk away. Would happily stay again, if passing through the area on a hike.

Lovely little farm campsite with beautiful grounds. Mainly tents. Glamping and bunkhouse, but we stayed in only campervan pitch which is hard standing with electric. Firepits allowed with wood from farm. Very quiet and so relaxing. A55 is near so background sound from there but not disturbing. Handy for walks coastal and up to the falls. Cafes and takeaways close. Easy to get train into Bangor or Conwy
