A campsite near Llanrwst that commandeers the playing field of Nant Conwy Rugby Football Club during the off-season, Popcorn Camping delivers flat pitches and mountain panoramas in equal measure. Perched on the edge of Snowdonia National Park in the Conwy valley, wherever you pitch your tent the views are superb, with wooded ridges rising on all sides. Pitches are allocated on arrival so groups can camp together, and cars park alongside—no trudging gear across the turf.
The clubhouse provides hot showers, loos and washing-up points, with drinking-water taps dotted around the field. There's a communal campfire for evening gatherings, and barbecues are welcome as long as they're off the ground. Dogs are allowed but must stay on leads and out of the clubhouse.
Quiet time runs from 10:30pm to 8am, keeping things peaceful for walkers and families alike. With canoeing, climbing and mountain-biking trails all nearby, it's an ideal base for exploring North Wales without the fuss of a year-round site.

What a lovely campsite in a wonderful location. Well maintained with plenty of facilities, and friendly hosts. Great area for hiking and exploring Snowdonia. Ate at the pub in the village which okay, but basic menu.

Everything at Cefn Cae is spotless and clean. Lots of thought has gone into the superb set-up....larger pitches and loads of room in the separate shower/toilet and sink rooms. Would definitely recommend this site to all.
