About Ty Mawr Holiday Park

Ty Mawr Holiday Park sprawls across meadow and warren pitches near Abergele, making it one of North Wales's larger touring bases. Families will appreciate the indoor pool, kids' club and evening entertainment, while the on-site restaurant and takeaway save trips into town after a day exploring Conwy's castles or the coast. There's a games room, play area and a bar for grown-ups, plus practical touches like a launderette and well-equipped washrooms.

With over 200 pitches, it can feel a bit busy in high season, but the range of electric grass touring options—including larger plots in both the meadows and warren areas—means there's usually space to spread out. Dogs are welcome year-round, and seasonal pitches are available if you fancy a longer stay.

What visitors say

Adz cant sing

We stayed here from 8th to 15th June, got a siver 6 bed caravan. Bought early check-in arrived just after 2pm as we where under 2 hours away, payed £35 bit steep but worth it. The caravan was really nice the pictures didn't look anything like advertised on website as its illustrative very wide in living room. Kitchen was well equipped and fully working no problems, shocked to find 2 bathrooms which was great one with shower and one just toilet, was not expecting that. Missing toilet brush in both. The master bedroom was great with walk in wardrobes however bit annoying that there was no bedside table to put phones and no bedside light. The grounds looked well kept and always a staff member either cutting grass or doing some maintenance. Great for getting in at night and was well lit. The dog play ground did find a poop on there, my dog wasn't interested in this. Didn't go in boathouse, pool or showbar as cant comment, sadly not dog friendly unlike withernsea and fallbarrow holliday parks. Did go in arcade had a lot of fun playing on the 2p machines some days winning key rings 😆. Mainly used it for base to explore local area, ryhl is not great but did enjoy exploring towyn more life there and loved going Llandudno. Loads of noisy seagulls about tap dancing on your caravan all day and night didn't put me off and ended up being background noise. We would definitely be back next year.

Where do i start, parkdean ty mawr has got to be the best site i’ve ever been on. the arcade is big for kids, the entertainment and boathouse are good places to just relax and enjoy the food and entertainment. The staff are really kind, and will help you if anything happens. the beach is also not that far from the site, there’s a fun fair nearby which is good for kids. (knightly’s) 100% would go back next year. (we stayed monday to monday (29.06.26-06.7.26)

We recently stayed at Ty Mawr Caravan Park and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Our lodge was absolutely stunning, spacious enough for a family of five and finished to a really high standard. One of the highlights was the view, overlooking beautiful open farmland with the impressive Gwrych Castle in the distance. It made for a really peaceful and scenic setting. The staff throughout the park were brilliant. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, they consistently went above and beyond, always with a positive attitude and a genuine willingness to help. There was no shortage of things to do either. The activities on site catered perfectly to our kids aged 10, 5, and 2, which is not always easy to find. Their favourites were the sand art, high ropes, and Wipeout 2.0, plenty to keep them entertained and active. Outside of the park, there is loads to explore too. A short distance away you will find a large, very reasonably priced fun fair and market, plus miles of clean, sandy beaches, perfect for letting the kids run around and burn off energy. All in all, we could not have asked for a better family break. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing, and family friendly getaway.

A great holiday with family or friends i usually go with family and usually for a week or so. There's lots to do and explore the park and the area. It's dog friendly so you can take your pet's around the holiday park and it's close to the beach and local amenities attractions Ryl is close by its around the abergele area Ryl fair and funrides entertainment if you want a day away from the park. There's family entertainment and children's club's and activities evening entertainment. The caravan or lodge is always clean and tidy fresh when you arrive. You can book short or long stays depending on your budget. There's always something to do or see on the park.
