Whitehouse Leisure Park

Came for weekend break weather was fantastic. Check in was easy and straightforward. Managed to get a parking space right next to the van. The site nextdoor is also the same company and can use there facilities. Didn't use the pool but believe you pay and book a session there was also some outdoor activities for the kids that you had to book and pay for. Only thing I didn't like was the beach bar that's all outside doesn't allow dogs in neither does the clubhouse but your not allowed to leave dogs alone in the caravan? Wasn't a problem for us as the site nextdoor had a nice outdoor seating area with music on so went there and that is dog friendly but if it was raining and you had the dog your stuck as nowhere for you to go? There's a little shop in the park nextdoor and it's next to the swimming pool. Only small but had everything you might need and it wasn't overpriced like holiday parks normally are are the staff were lovely especially the woman working on Saturday day time and Friday evening she was really lovely. The food we had at the clubhouse on the terrace was fantastic. It took awhile to arrive but we didn't mind as it was all hot and fresh and really good sized portions. Drinks were reasonable enough it was about 25 quid for a double house gin and tonic and 3 pints. The staff were lovely here also and had a good laugh at the bar with them. Went the onsite chippy on Saturday night and the food was lovely. Again all the girls in the chippy were lovely and a good laugh. Was 50 odd quid for 4 fish and chips 2 mushy peas and 2 curry. Was all fresh hot and lovely even after getting a sneaky pint and shot before going back the van. The Sunday was a bit chilly went for a nice walk around Towyn and back along beach to the park. Got a roast dinner from Jake's but had to sit in the wooden huts outside because we had the dog. The food came out hot and veg severed separate. Was ok nothing special for the price would probably not have again can't remember the price but I did order a side of cauliflower cheese for 5 quid when it arrived it was only 2 bits of cauliflower and the cheese sauce just tasted like flour. We are the food and didn't complain as the staff were lovely and that what the offering is so not their fault it was also buy 1 get one half price and we ate it as were starving but just wouldn't bother in future. The park is spotless and all the staff are lovely even the maintenance fella we seen at the bins. There is a bridge direct from the park to the lovely pebble beach and the sites kept really nice. Only negative I would say needs better signage to bins and more bins around site especially dog muck bins as only seen one on the bridge to beach it was overflowing and bags around it on the floor. That's my only negative. Had a lovely time and would go back and deffo recommended the place. Thanks for great little weekend

Worst holiday place I've ever been! The Caravan was great five stars for that but everything else was rubbish; The staff is friendly but when you arrive at night It becomes a test on your mathematics skill The caravans are in even and odd numbers and if you are lucky the caravan will have the number me and my dad spent 1 hour just to find my caravan. The Caravans are outstanding so no criticism here folks. However for the entertainment part I went to the arcade and every game was in coins but the problem is the coin machine was broken! And I was questioning the staffs reluctantless to repair a simple coin machine The beach is alright but the annoying bit when you sleep is either the seagulls or the Petrifying sound of a Transport for Wales train passing by like a 6 rated seismic wave!

Looks great situated vintage a good location. Picked someone up from the reception but never stayed there so far.

Well kept caravan park. Very large but that means it has lots of amenities like its own shop, chippy, launderette, bar and restaurant, entertainment, pool , soft play area etc. .The beach is only a short walk away and is a very long sandy beach. Parking is limited unless your caravan has its own allotted space. If not then there are a few car park areas dotted around but at busy periods you might have difficulty parking near your caravan.
