Lavender Cottage

Conwy and its castle draw visitors to this corner of North Wales, and Lavender Cottage sits just outside the town on a working farm with 25 acres of grounds to explore. The setting is genuinely rural—rolling countryside, Snowdonia visible on clear days, ponds dotted through the fields—yet the town and its restaurants are a short drive away.

The cottage itself is compact but properly equipped for five. Downstairs you have an open-plan kitchen-dining-living space with a gas cooker and the essentials for self-catering. Upstairs are three bedrooms: a double and two singles, with a shower room serving all of them. Bed linen, towels, heating and wi-fi are included. A hot tub (shared with other properties on the farm) can be booked separately if you want one.

Outside there is a patio with furniture and parking for two cars. The grounds are shared and there is an unfenced pond on the property, so families with young children should be aware. No smoking inside. It is the kind of place for people who want actual quiet and countryside rather than a village with a shop, and for walking or just sitting still.
