Sunset Cottage comes with everything you need for a week away: the kitchen has an electric cooker, hob, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook properly or take a break from it. Upstairs, the living and dining room has comfortable seating and a Freeview TV; downstairs are two bedrooms, each with two single beds, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. One parking space comes with the property, and if you're travelling with young children, a cot, travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request.
The cottage sits on Bron Y Wendon, a quiet family-run holiday park with reception staff on hand during your stay. From here the North Wales Coastal Path is within easy reach, and Colwyn Bay itself—with its water sports facilities—is close by. Llandudno, the Victorian resort town, is a short drive away, as are Conwy and its castle. Those wanting to venture into Snowdonia National Park can reach it in around half an hour. The property has an inverted layout that puts the main living space on the upper floor, where you'll catch sea views across the Irish Sea towards the Great Orme. No smoking inside.

We had a wonderful stay and couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome. Cerys went above and beyond to make us feel at home, serving delicious homemade food, fresh eggs, and even providing a paddling pool so we could cool off after a hot day exploring North Wales. The thoughtful little touches and attention to detail made it a very special. The accommodation was comfortable, peaceful and in a great location for discovering the area. It was the perfect base for our weekend. Thank you for your kindness and generous hospitality. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine Welsh welcome.

Thank you Cerys for a wonderful stay. Check in was smooth, Cerys met us and showed us around and answered any questions we had. We were greeted by a beautiful, home made, slow cooked chicken casserole and 2 loaves of homemade bread which were so delicious and perfect for us as we didn’t have to think about dinner once we arrived. Cerys recommended the white lion pub up the road which did a beautiful Sunday roast dinner. The weather wasn’t amazing but we were able to get cosy and play board games listening to the rain. It was perfect. My son loved the bottom bunk and said it was his den. We visited a local castle and Cerys talented daughter showed us the cows on the farm which my toddler loved. The hut was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed thanks to Cerys. Again, on check out Cerys came to say goodbye which was lovely. Thank you for being such a fantastic host and look in after us so well. Your hut is beautiful! X

Stayed at Cerys’s lovely cottage over new year 2025-26 - a couple and our 18month old daughter. The location of the cottage is so peaceful, looking over some sheep in a field and mountains in the backdrop. House had everything and more for our stay and was so nicely presented. Cerys was the perfect host making us feel welcome and giving useful recommendations on the area. We arrived to a homemade lamb stew, bread and lemon drizzle cake which we ordered before- all were delicious and highly recommended. Would recommend to friends and stay again if in the area.
