About Gwynfryn B&B
Gwynfryn B&B occupies a converted Welsh Methodist chapel on York Place, off Lancaster Square, inside the walls and close to Conwy's railway station, river and castle. The conversion spans two connected buildings, the Chapel House and the Hidden Chapel, and keeps original chapel features alongside a more contemporary boutique finish in the rooms themselves.
Run by long-standing owners since the early 2000s, the B&B has built a strong reputation locally, helped by the Hidden Chapel restaurant on site, which opens several evenings a week and gives guests the option of dinner without leaving the building. Dinner, bed and breakfast packages are available alongside room-only bookings.
Its location inside the walls, just off the main square, puts it within a few minutes of the castle, quay and every shop and restaurant in the old town, making it one of the more central bases available for a short stay in Conwy.

This place was as charming as the photos on the website! Perfect location for walking all around town and down by the water. Close to good restaurants and pubs. Close to parking. Loved the special decorative touches, the fan and windows and the tub! Breakfast was delicious. We missed dinner there. Only wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Stunning property - Great B&B. Everything about our stay was lovely. We very much appreciated the fan and the mini fridge in the room, both are small things that make a big difference. Colin, one of the owners, was friendly and helpful. Super close to the train station, but far enough to be peaceful. Lots of options for breakfast, which was well prepared.

Welsh hospitality at its finest - Our stay at Gwynfryn started with an efficient check in that accommodated our needs and gave us plenty of time to walk around -- and above -- this beautiful city. Colin answered questions and provided good information about how to access surrounding sites via public transit. Breakfast was very satisfying and tasty.

Location is in a great spot in Conwy from the train station and a bus stop that takes you around the area or the hop on/hop off bus to Llandudno. The rooms are very clean, my double room had plenty of room for luggage and overall room was comfortable. The owner and the staff were all really kind and helpful. The restaurant on-site was a great treat after a long day out on a tour and wanting to stay close. You are truly so close to everything in this charming town! I would recommend my friends stay here on their trip to North Wales.
