Very peaceful, plenty of space, nice and quite. The facilities are from the sixties, but perfectly usable and clean, if you don't count spiderwebs. Plenty of authentic Cornish farm vibes.

Beautiful, well kept field, spacious and quiet, easy to get to by bus, perfect for backpackers. Simple facilities, but you have everything you might need, clean toilets, hot shower, water point. Glad that we found this site, it's a hidden gem, away from the busy fully packed touring sites. Highly recommended. A few practicalities: cash only and no shops around, so be prepared with food, there is however a Thai food kiosk right in front of the campsite, open until 9pm (Thu-Sun), so you won't go hungry.

South west coastal path walker here and loved this site! £10 for the night with pretty basic facilities however everything works well! Shower is warm and clean, undercover washing up area, charging port for phones, what more do you need! This place is definitely not the Ritz however it’s clearly not advertised as it. The Thai takeaway next door is a god send too as the area is pretty limited on amenities. Everyone on site is friendly too!

All the luxuries of camping: stone hedges thick with hawthorn and wild flowers, swifts darting over the field and clouds rolling over distant hills. Only a few minutes' walk from the Pipers stones, Merry Maidens and an ancient burial chamber. It's also a short drive from Lamorna Cove. Rural enough to be wild and free but close enough to Penzance for groceries. The only traffic you'll hear is the odd car and the occasional bus (yes, it's on a bus route). One clean but no-frills shower with plenty of hot water. One toilet for men, two for women. The washing up sink is in an outhouse with a power socket for phone charging. Refreshingly, there's only one campsite rule: be considerate of others. Just a field with a few basic amenities in the perfect location. Lovely.
