Hosts Darryl and Claire run this intimate adults-only site with a relaxed, welcoming touch—their resident dogs Bella and Beau are often on hand to greet arrivals and are happy to share the space with canine visitors. The location is the real draw here: St Agnes and Perranporth lie within ten minutes' drive to the north, while Falmouth, Trebah Garden and St Michael's Mount sit around half an hour south, making daily coastal flip-flopping genuinely feasible.
Facilities are low-key but well-maintained—showers, toilets, washing-up area, and recycling—with woodland borders ensuring plenty of privacy across the handful of non-electric grass pitches. A pub, bakery and coffee shop are a couple of minutes' walk away, with more amenities in Blackwater village centre a mile down the road. It's a simple, friendly base that punches above its weight for exploring the county.

We just got back from 3 nights staying here and it was such a lovely place to stay. Daryl and Claire were so welcoming upon arrival and we had the whole site to ourselves. The bell tent itself was beautiful and the site has everything you could need for your stay. The site is in a perfect location and easily accessible to a lot of places around Cornwall. Would highly recommend as we had such a perfect time on holiday and will be returning when the opportunity arises. Thanks Tegan :)

This is an absolute gem of a campsite. The owners are super friendly, present and welcoming, and very happy to give local recommendations for places to visit and eat. The campsite itself is spotlessly clean and well presented, with large marked pitches with a good amount of space between them. Due to limited pitches, and being adult only, it is very peaceful. Beautiful copse to walk dogs in. The kitchen facilities have everything you need, including a kettle, microwave and shared fridge/freezer. Location is perfect for quick access to the north coast with beautiful walks and beaches.
