About Cadgwith Camping
Perched on a working dairy farm above Cornwall's dramatic southern coast, Cadgwith Camping delivers exactly what wild-camping devotees crave: spectacular sea views, direct access to the South West Coast Path (just five minutes' walk), and a gloriously back-to-basics setup with composting loos and portable hot showers. Pitch your tent on naturally sloping grassland, light a campfire as the sun dips, and let the rhythmic crash of waves below lull you to sleep. The friendly owners often have fresh farm produce to share, and there's even an on-site food van serving breakfast through dinner if you'd rather not cook – handy after a day scrambling to Lizard Point or snorkelling at Kynance Cove.
The tiny fishing village of Cadgwith sits a 15-minute stroll away through peaceful lanes, famous for crab sandwiches made from that morning's catch. Lizard village (five minutes' drive) covers pubs, cafés and provisions. Facilities are intentionally simple here – this is wild camping with a view, not a manicured park – but visitors consistently praise the cleanliness, reasonable prices and that unbeatable clifftop panorama stretching south toward the lighthouse.

What visitors say
Had a lovely two night stay at this campsite, very good value, good flat and sheltered pitch with beautiful sea views, clean composting toilets, hot showers, washing up facilities, and food van (with delicious pizza on a Friday night!) Perfect balance of being peaceful yet relaxed, had lots of amenities available and I loved the eco friendly approach. Very convenient for the coast path (just a few mins on a path to the road entrance), only about 25 mins to a bus stop on walkable roads or the coast path. Had a lovely daytrip to Lizard on foot. Very friendly and helpful hosts, would definitely recommend or come back! Thank you :)

Absolutely stunning site with friendly hosts. Love that the fields are managed to encourage meadow growth and lots of lovely wild flowers. Composting toilets were clean and smell free. Food from the van was great and quickly made, so no long waits for our pizza. The campsite is a short walk along the coastal path to Cadgwith and this little fishing cove with the thatched cottages and still working harbour is worth a visit. Having travelled through Scotland and Wales where prices can be eye watering, it was great to find a site that only charged £25 for the van, 2 people and a dog. Will definitely come again.

What a fantastic campsite! Will was an absolutely lovely, generous host. Both he and Cathy made us feel right at home straight away and we loved the fact he opened up the food van for breakfast. Great breakfast baps and good quality coffee. The campsite has all you'd need: clean compost loos, good, hot showers, washing up facilities, along with fire pits and wood to buy. The best stay of our 6 nights on the SWCP.
