What visitors say
We enjoyed a night at Sues and Johns campside beginning of March 2026 and were very happy about the given infrastructure. Even though all surrounding campsite were closed, Higher Moor opend the gates for us. We enjoyed a warm shower, a nice cuppa tea and a warm welcome from our hosts, but most the birdsongs, the lovley little stream, green fields and old trees. In case you don't need the most glamorous camping it's definitly a Must Go, a place to relax! Cheers Sue and John!

Great campsite- big level pitches, perfectly peaceful. Cubert common is just outside the campsite and it’s a short walk to Polly Joke beach and the villages of Cubert. All the facilities you need and all were clean

Lovely campsite, perfect to escape the world for a while. Beautiful grounds, clean and well maintained facilities, friendly owner. Walking distance of 3 beautiful beaches. We will be back. Thanks John!

Shhh..don't tell everyone, this fabulous site is a hidden gem. Privately owned by the lovely Sue and John who have a calm watchful eye making sure everything is kept perfect for the campers. It felt very nostalgic, all campers on outside edges of the field, with HUGE pitches..leaving all the middle for family fun..no suprise that we met families who have been coming here for years..3 generations in 1 family..showers and toilets spotless, warm with hot water, electric points and freezer for ice blocks. We loved the grounds and signs reflecting the owners humour..It's walking distance to 3 amazing beaches, 2 with facilities, life guard and beach bar etc, local one completely unspoilt..Crantock is a beautiful, quant little village with shop and 2 pubs. We will definately return ..❤️
