About Ivyleaf Golf Course and Campsite

Days of golf and outdoorsy Cornish adventures, followed by relaxing evenings alongside a scenic nine-hole parkland golf course—that's the rhythm at Ivyleaf, a friendly hilltop site just off the A39 between Bude (10 minutes) and Kilkhampton (five minutes). The spectacular views and well-kept facilities—modern shower rooms, washing-up areas, chemical disposal—make it a solid base for exploring both Cornwall and Devon, though some visitors note the site can feel a little tired in places.

You're welcome to tee off on the nine-hole course, or head 10 minutes to the coast for surf beaches and the South West Coast Path's up-and-down hikes. Tamar Lakes Activity Centre (15 minutes) offers sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. Browse Bude's cafés and shops, or amble Clovelly's cobbled streets (25 minutes) across the Devon border. Closer still, Cornish pubs, restaurants and a farm shop serving essential pasties sit within five minutes' drive—perfect for refuelling between adventures.

Great driving range and course, good prices for balls, good views while playing golf, toptracer made it way more entertaining with the ability to play different games, able to order food to the range. Ideal spot. Will definitely be coming back!

What a fab find!!! We did some google searches prior to our holiday at Sandymouth and came across Ivyleaf Golf Course. My youngest child is interested in golf and never done the driving range. We didnt need to book so arrived on Sunday afternoon and was greeted by a gentleman who was very informative. It only cost us £18 for 5 of us with 3 buckets of balls. Theres a machine at the driving range if you wanted to have more balls - this was a great idea. We all enjoyed it so much we came back later in the week to do the driving range again. We enquired about the golf as the gentleman we saw on the sunday said we were welcome to try it out. This proved popular with our kids so came back next day for 9 holes of golf. We didnt feel rushed, we did let a few people go in front of us as we were complete beginners we knew it would take us a while to go round. Owners are lovely and welcoming. The views are amazing!! We plan to come back next year. A big thumbs up.

Great little course, underestimate it at your peril, some very testing and unusual holes. Very hilly in places which makes for some unique challenges and gives you some incredible views. Clearly efforts being made by the new management to improve the course, the fairways are very well kept and the greens although a work in progress show a genuine effort is being made. Relaxed and friendly ethos, plus a range on site. I really enjoyed my round and will definitely be back.
