About Porthilly Beach Pop-Up Camping
Tucked into a sheltered meadow within a National Landscape, this small pop-up site sits just five minutes' walk from Porthilly beach on the Camel Estuary—a peaceful alternative to Cornwall's busier coastal strips. The dozen or so non-electric grass pitches are spotlessly maintained, with portable loos on-site and basic hot showers a short nature walk away at the neighbouring caravan park (not wheelchair accessible). Drinking water's on tap, barbecues are welcome, and the atmosphere is genuinely tranquil.
A footpath threads across grassy fields to Rock's village shops—deli, bakery, butcher, chippy—while the beach itself is a watersports haven for windsurfing, kayaking and rowing on calmer estuary waters. The South West Coast Path runs five minutes away for those craving clifftop views, and a foot ferry from Rock whisks you across to Padstow's foodie harbour in minutes. Reviewers praise the immaculate facilities and helpful owners, though be aware there's no hot water at the pitch itself and dogs aren't permitted.

What visitors say
First time staying here, but will definitely be back! The caravan was spotless, comfortable, and contained everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect, close to the beach and so peaceful. We travelled in a van to bring bikes and a canoe, and parking next to the caravan was no problem. TV and WiFi worked great, although we didn’t spend much time in the caravan to use them! We look forward to visiting again.

Fantastic stay at Porthilly Beach Holiday Park, the caravan was perfect, very clean, modern, comfortable and had everything we needed in it. The EV charger available on site was also a bonus for us! Lovely quiet and friendly site. Check in/out process was very easy. The site is in the perfect place for exploring the area, the beach at Porthilly Cove is just a few minutes walk away! We will definitely return and highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Porthilly Holiday Park, and we were so impressed that we've already booked to return in August! Our caravan was absolutely spotless, which was especially impressive as it was a dog-friendly accommodation. It was also very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is beautiful, just a short walk from Porthilly Beach, and the whole park has such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We felt completely at ease letting our children play, as it felt very safe and family-friendly. The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic holiday and can't wait to come back in August. Highly recommended!

We have recently returned from a lovely relaxing week at Porthilly Beach Holiday Park, with our 3 month old daughter and golden retriever. Within a few hours of arriving, we knew it would be the first of many holidays here. We are very familiar with the area having had several holidays nearby over the years, but the location of the site beats everywhere else we have stayed. We loved the short walk to the beach each day, and there are so many great places to eat at and visit nearby, many within walking distance or a short drive away. The caravan was beautiful and had everything we needed, and the bed linen and towels were like a hotel. We met Luke during our stay who was really friendly and helpful. Check in was super easy with a key safe. We cannot fault a thing and are just about to book again for next year, along with the caravan next door for my parents.
