About Roskilly's Camping

Tucked into the Cornish countryside near Helston, Roskilly's Camping pairs back-to-basics pitching with one notable luxury: proper farm ice cream and hot food from the on-site restaurant and shop. The facilities are kept spotless – clean loos, hot showers, and a communal kitchen with kettle and toaster – while campfires crackle under the stars and friendly farm animals wander nearby fields. Dogs are welcome, and the relaxed vibe suits families looking to unwind after coastal walks along the nearby cliffs.

With just twenty grass pitches (all non-electric), this is resolutely simple camping, so if you need hookups or Wi-Fi you'll need to look elsewhere. But for those happy to disconnect, Roskilly's offers that rare combination of genuine working-farm charm and well-run amenities, making it an honest, unfussy base for exploring Cornwall's southern tip.

What visitors say

First and foremost, we had a great stay. Toilets/showers were spot on. Pop up sauna available. Onsite restaurant/cafe/ice cream. Lots of great walks direct from the campsite, with the SW coastal path in easy reach. The only downside is the lack of communication with the host. I queried before arrival about both black and grey waste, which I was told both available. However, we could not find them on site. I tried ringing, texting, emailing and speaking to staff in the cafe/restaurant.... all to no avail. No reply to calls, texts and emails, and the onsite staff were unaware. We weren't the only ones either, we spoke to other campers who had the same issues.

The combination of stunning coastal walks, secluded beaches, and top-notch facilities makes this the perfect family-friendly Cornish getaway. We loved the on-site restaurant serving fresh farm produce. A special shout-out to the delicious ice cream — we will definitely be back!

Great campsite with good clean facilities and lots of room for everyone. Lovely restaurant with good food. I stayed one night whilst walking the coast path and it was a bit of a trek uphill to reach the campsite, but camping options were limited in this area and I definitely enjoyed my stay here.

Some camp site which is perfect as it isn't really busy. Restaurant nearby that had amazing food. Walking distance of to Coverack (if your used to coast path walks). Well equipped bathrooms and kitchen area. Dog friendly.
