What visitors say
Just got back from a 6 night stay. Considering how busy the campsite was, it was very peaceful and clean. Site is well maintained. Pitch sizes are good. Lee & his team are really lovely and work so hard. The little onsite shop and shack are a nice addition. Only downside is lack of toilet facilities during peak times.

This is a really good campsite. There are three or four small fields, with pitches separated by little hedges. The toilets, showers and washing up are absolutely spotless, the cleanest I’ve ever seen in a campsite! Lee, the owner, even opens a woodfired pizza shack in the evenings, and the pizza is really good! This place even allows barbecues and campfires which is increasingly rare and is a wonderful way to watch the sunset, which you can also see from this site. It’s also a short drive to Praa Sands, a fantastic long sandy Beach. But if it’s sunny, make sure you get to the beach early, as it gets busy, very busy! Highly recommend this campsite.

Lee & his wife have built this place over the last 2 decades and live on site. Their dedication to the place really shows! We were cycling touring and booked to camp but ended up upgrading to their Shepherds hut which was a dream. Lovely little cabin with everything you need (including a wood-burning fire, which Lee helped us set up). We slept incredibly well! The other accommodations also looked great so I would definitely consider this if doing a holiday with the car. As they live onsite it’s really well-maintained and cared for. Lee was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. Can’t recommend their service highly enough. We’ve done a lot of camping and these guys are easily one of the best places we’ve been to in terms of quality of amenities but also service. And the view of the coast is gorgeous too! Thanks a lot, if we’re holidaying around this area in the future you’ll see us again!

Super cozy Campsite! We stayed in the Sheppards Hut and are in love with the style of Glamping. The grounds are tidy and it also looks like it’s great to stay in a tent or camper. The shed has a little wood burning oven and heats up very quick even in colder weather. The Bathroom is a separate little shed with a nice shower that is very well tempered. I’m also in love with the area, you can even see the sea from the campsite. Very very lovely, would definitely recommend a stay here!
