The best part of this was The Fort Inn - a great breakfast and really sweet staff. We were initially welcomed by a lovely lady but when I went to book a swim (which you pay extra for even though the pitches are £38) the lady behind the Reception counter was so rude. I went to book, she said, “Have you booked”. No I am here to book. “You need to book it gets busy.” She did this on both occasions. Really odd. The pool was very cool in temperature - actually great considering the heat outside. But be aware there are a LOT of foaming bubbles which smelled v strongly of ammonia. Maybe this is why they open the doors. Both swims there were no other swimmers despite the lady on reception acting like it was going to be rammed. Both times there were two staff on the actual pool and gym counter but you can’t book in there, nope. Up the little hill and around to reception for you. They’ve just got it all wrong in terms of customer journey. We’ll look elsewhere. Views are great if you clamber up to see them. They need more toilets near the fully serviced pitches it’s a long, unsafe walk at night.

+ You can not get a better location! Stunning sea views, for those that likes a city view's you can see all of Plymouth from the other side of the park. it's got a bar, Food, swimming pool, laundrette. Fully serviced pitches, it's close to one of the best beaches I've ever been to. If I had to make a criticism, it would be the WC/Showers there's only 2 showers for the whole park and they could with a update but still clean & functional. I will definitely come again.

We have brought our caravan here for the weekend & we are loving our stay. The view is incredible across Dartmoor and beyond. (The other side will be your sea views, but we are happy with these views). A top tip would be to choose the meadows area for your pitch - Number 7 is a good choice. Pitches are a good size. Excuse our green caravan in the photo - it’s our first trip of the season. Albert on the bar last night was very accommodating and welcoming, so thank you. Bar prices seem OK. The arcade area new for 2026 is superb, all games are only £1 and our 2 year old loves it! We cannot wait for the entertainment this evening!

Beautiful area, site access tight for touring caravans (ours is small). Staff lovely, nice bar and pool but services dated. No views where vans pitched.
