This 18th-century cottage began life as a gamekeeper's lodge on the Caerhays Estate, and sits in rolling countryside just half a mile from the estate itself. The village location puts you within walking distance of Porthluney Beach, a local favourite for swimming and sand, while the coastal path lies within easy reach for longer explorations. Pheasants move through the grounds, and woodland walks across the estate are accessible for spring visits to see the formal gardens.

Inside, the cottage spreads across two storeys. Ground level holds a living room with a woodburner, separate dining room, and kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Upstairs are three bedrooms—a king, two singles, and another single—sharing one bathroom with shower. A utility room on the lower ground floor contains a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge. Electricity, bed linen and wi-fi are all included.

The mature garden is the real draw: it runs down to a stream at its far edge and has several seating areas, a patio with barbecue, and garden furniture. The property takes one pet. There is a steep step down to the patio and six steps within the garden itself. Parking for two cars is on site. No smoking inside.
