Brooklands

Families and larger groups will find Brooklands works well for a proper escape. The four-bedroom farmhouse, a Grade II listed property set in the hamlet of Tregaswith, gives everyone their own space while keeping the group together. Four beds sleep eight in total: one kingsize and three doubles, plus two singles in the fourth room. There is one bathroom with a roll-top bath, walk-in shower and heated towel rail. The living areas flow between a sitting room with woodburner and smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for real cooking—range cooker, dishwasher, microwave and all the basics for assembling meals or planning a barbecue.

What makes Brooklands distinctive is the welcome for dogs. Up to six are allowed free, and the owner provides dog towels, ID tags and treats. An enclosed three-and-a-half acre field is available for supervised play while you're out. The garden itself is lawned with a patio and barbecue, and there's parking for four cars. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are available on request. The location sits within reach of the North Cornwall coast and the surrounding countryside; no smoking or vaping indoors.
