Chy-Vean sits in a village overlooking Mounts Bay, within reach of several worthwhile destinations. The coastal footpath is on your doorstep for walkers, Trengwainton's National Trust gardens lie a ten-minute walk away, and Penzance—with its pubs, restaurants and transport links to the Isles of Scilly—is two miles down the road. The nearby village of Heamoor has a bakery, shop and chip shop if you need supplies without driving. Sandy beaches at Sennen, St Ives and Porthcurno are within reasonable reach, and Minack open air theatre is accessible for an evening out.
The cottage is a detached, 19th-century property with two bedrooms (a double and two singles) and one bathroom. Downstairs you have a living and dining room with television, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking rather than reheating—electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, and a washer-dryer. Upstairs are the two bedrooms. Bed linen and towels come with the booking, as does Wi-Fi and all heating and electricity. There's an enclosed, south-facing garden with a patio and furniture for sitting outside; parking is on the road.
The cottage sleeps four and welcomes one pet. It is a non-smoking property. The King William pub in the village offers food and drink without leaving the immediate area.
