Stream Valley Holiday Park

Heamoor, Penzance TR20 8UJ, UK

Leafy touring, camping and glamping park at Heamoor, a mile from Penzance

About Stream Valley Holiday Park

Tucked into a sheltered, garden-like site at Heamoor on the edge of Penzance, Stream Valley Holiday Park (still known locally by its former name, Bone Valley) occupies a quietly leafy spot roughly a mile from the town centre. Mature planting around the pitches gives it a more enclosed, residential feel than an open touring field, and it's earned a reputation as one of the tidier small parks in this corner of Cornwall—though some visitors note that facilities can feel a little tired in places.

The park takes tents, tourers and motorhomes, with hardstanding and electric hookups available, plus a handful of static caravans and glamping pods for those without their own kit. Dogs are welcome, campfires are allowed on the more open pitches, and Heamoor village—with its own shops and bus service—is within walking distance.

It's a practical base for exploring the far west, from St Michael's Mount and Newlyn to the cliffs around Land's End, while still being close enough to walk or hop on a bus into Penzance for dinner.

Stayed here with my 15 month old over the weekend. It was fab. The lodge was lovely, warm and super clean. Site was really quiet and only 5 minutes from the town centre. We got to see a squirrel and hear an owl which was pretty cool! Wardens Dave and Tracy couldn't do enough for us and are genuinely very kind people. Thank you for having us! Would definitely return!

Excellent campsite. Stayed here for the week. Ideal base to get out and about to explore Cornwall. 25 min walk into Penzance, where the Bus and train station are next to each other. Very cheap fares on both. Campsite and facilities were very clean. Warden was friendly. Would definitely go back again.

Booked in advance, got quoted an amount. Prices must have gone up in the meantime as final bill showed a higher amount. I did get this refunded. Had a call in the morning to confirm what we were staying in despite this being communicated from start. Unsure what records they keep. On arrival to the site, no warden in sight. Was pointed to where he is by another camper, approached the static. Knocked, called, from outside only to be heard then told quite firmly "this is private!!!". It was the warden's and I wasn't just entering or trespassing, only trying to make myself known as we were stuck outside the coded gate. Pointed to the pitch eventually, it was fine. Didn't know about the extra cost of shower. Nearby bus stop & shop handy. Researched timetables in advance and planned coast path walks accordingly. A fellow camper, who I don't believe was on holiday made me feel uneasy at times, unsure of the situation here.
