Coombe End Cottage

Coombe End Cottage works well for families or couples wanting rural Cornwall without isolation. The cottage holds four people across two bedrooms—a double and two singles—with two bathrooms to match. You get the whole place to yourself, with parking on site and Wi-Fi throughout. Bed linen is included. One dog is welcome.

Downstairs has a living room with an open fire (initial logs provided), a kitchen with electric cooker and full appliances including washer and tumble dryer, and a conservatory. Upstairs are the bedrooms and a bathroom with a bath and shower. The cottage comes with a travel cot and highchair if needed. A garden with furniture sits outside. You can heat via oil central heating or make do with the fire; electricity runs on a meter. No smoking inside.

The hills around the property hold the remains of old tin mines—walking country rather than manicured parkland. Porthreath beach is four miles away. Carn Brea Castle sits minutes off. A leisure centre with a pool, golf at Tehidy three miles out, and horse riding are nearby. The A30 is accessible for trips to Penzance, St Ives, Truro, Falmouth or Newquay within half an hour. A shop is five minutes' drive; a pub a mile.
