Fifty Six

Fifty Six is a two-bedroom cottage within Atlantic Reach holiday park, a few miles from Newquay on the north Cornwall coast. The building itself is modern and thoughtfully fitted out, with an open-plan ground floor that combines living, dining and kitchen space. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—and a shower room. The whole place is yours alone, with parking for one car on site.

The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can cook anything from breakfast to full meals. The living area has a television and comfortable seating. Essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included; there's also electric heating throughout. If you're travelling with very small children, a travel cot and highchair are available. An on-site launderette with washing machine and tumble dryer (coin-operated) serves the whole park.

The holiday park sits close to some of the region's best beaches—Watergate Bay and Porth are nearby, Fistral famous for surfing is a short drive away. Newquay itself has restaurants, shops and an aquarium and zoo. Padstow to the north is known for its galleries and food scene. The park has its own pub within walking distance. No smoking is permitted inside the property.
