Halcyon's Rest works for families needing space, groups of friends, or couples wanting room to spread out. The property sleeps nine across four bedrooms: ground floor has a kingsize and a pair of singles, upstairs a kingsize and a double-plus-single combination. Two bathrooms mean less queuing; one is ensuite to a ground floor bedroom, the other upstairs with a bath and shower.

The ground floor is open-plan living and dining with a fitted kitchen where you can cook proper meals, plus an electric woodburner and a 55-inch smart TV. Doors open onto a patio. Essentials are covered: heating, electricity, linen and towels are included, along with wifi and private parking. There's an electric car charging point on site.

The property sits within Hengar Manor Holiday Park, where guests can use the shared indoor heated swimming pool (open 10:00 to 17:00, 25 metres by 10 metres). It's a good base for the North Cornwall coast and inland exploring. No smoking throughout. Travel cots and highchairs are available on request.
