Boscastle's fishing harbour, narrow streets and independent shops lie within easy walking distance of Jarvies Cottage, which sits at the top of the hill descending into the village. The stone semi-detached cottage has a wood burner for cooler evenings, an enclosed garden with patio furniture, and parking for one small car on site. One dog is welcome and stays free.
Inside are three bedrooms (two doubles and one bunk bed suitable for children), a bathroom with bath and shower, and a kitchen with electric range and washing machine. The dining room opens onto the garden. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
Trebartwith Strand beach lies 3 miles south. Port Isaac, where Doc Martin was filmed, is a short drive along the coast, as are Tintagel and Padstow. The moorland and more distant attractions like the Eden Project are within reach for day trips. The cottage does not allow smoking.

Massive relief to find this cottage it's excellent for relaxing in and does have parking, washing machine bath shower good cooker and triple oven plus microwave outside space two double beds and a bunk bed too. Wifi and TV. Its a bit of a tardis but with thick traditional walls for the area it stays cool and is a bit darker inside but there's plenty of lights etc. Great location but you do need to be relatively fit to enjoy this area there are steep hills in all directions but that is part of the area's attraction. There is a little supermarket nearby (btw) and Pub too. Although there is a village hall beside (with their evil parking rukes) there was no noise or anything from there that disturbed us and we had windows etc open. Owner was easy to contact by text and problems easily resolved. Great place to return too every day and relax.

What a lovely cottage in Boscastle. We had a wonderful time during our stay here. The host was so kind to have given us a complimentary tea scones. We'll definitely recommend this place to everyone who's planning to stay in North Cornwall.

Lovely cottage with all convenience required for a week away. Dawn was on hand to help with anything and resolved a small issue very quickly. Parking is snug but manageable. The cottage is at the top of a steep hill so may not suit those less active. Boscastle is a lovely place with much history. Definitely recommend the Cobweb Inn for eating after a long walk.
