What visitors say
I found this place while skimming google maps and drove to it, I parked in the main car park on the hilly road down to the beach, plenty of room for parking and as I approached the opening to the beach I did I detour and headed up to the right, up some steep steps to get a high view of the area and I didn’t stop, I carried on walking along the coast path for 45 mins before finding a very large flat cliff top which cracking views across back towards the beach, then headed back passing some old mining buildings in the cliff, gorgeous colourful flowers and back onto the beach which is a little tricky to get onto as you have to walk over rocks and there is water/stream running down from the road due to the steep access to the beach which makes the rocks slippery but it’s worth it if you take your time, there is a massive beach and also rocks to climb up on for a nice chilling out position, the area by the beach is small which is lovely, a couple of independent shops and cafe and then up on the cliff looking over the beach is a glorious pub/restaurant which gets very busy because of its stunning location and based on the prices, it’s clearly quality food and a very good spot for a sunset

A beautiful spot with amazing sunset views, even though high tide meant we couldn't get down to the beach. Heads up for visitors: The closest parking lot only takes coins (no card or pay-by-phone options), and there is zero mobile network in the area!
