Ladyvale Barn is a converted barn on the edge of Cardinham Woods, Cornwall's largest woodland area. The property is detached and private, with just one bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, sleeping two people. A kingsize bed sits in the bedroom alongside a smart TV, with direct access through stable doors onto a patio. The wet room has a walk-in shower and heated towel rail.
Upstairs is a single open-plan space combining living and dining areas with a kitchen equipped for real cooking: electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave and coffee machine are all there. A separate utility room houses a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Heating is underfloor throughout, and Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard.
The garden is the real draw. A private hot tub sits on the patio beside the bedroom, with garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. Beyond that, a summerhouse overlooks a lawn that slopes down to a small river. The whole garden is enclosed, and a bike store is on site for guests exploring the 650 acres of forest and mountain bike trails that begin just along the lane. Cardinham Woods has a café if you want to stop after a walk. The property does not accept children, except infants in arms, and is non-smoking throughout.

Ladyvale Barn provided us with the perfect place to relax and de-stress. The barn is extremely well equipped and comfortable. All home comforts are provided and a few extra special touches made our stay perfect. The setting in the woods and the gardens surrounding the barn are peaceful and stunning. However, its not far to shops beaches restaurants etc. One of the best holiday homes we’ve stayed in.

We had a wonderfull stay here. We booked three nights, but decided to stay some extra nights. The suroundings are beautifull, very peacefull, quit and lush (May). The barn has everything you need. One can see it's built with love and attention. We could definitly recommend it to others and if we ever travel to this part of Cornwall, I will contact Lance and Katie to see if we can stay there again.

My wife and I have enjoyed three visits to Ladyvale Barn and will return again. It is ideally located away from the crowded tourist bustle of Cornwall but with convenient access to the main routes making it ideal for anyone wishing to enjoy what Cornwall has to offer. The hosts are very welcoming and ensure you have all you need in a beautiful well equipped cottage which is beautifully presented and makes for a special home from home. Thank you for our lovely stays.
