What visitors say

Marion Bines

Visited yesterday with our 2 dogs and had a great walk round in the forest. The dogs loved the stream and we loved the shade from the beautiful trees. Nice cafe, clean toilets and plenty of parking. Bought a map for £1 which was useful. Amazing view at the viewpoint. Only issue was its hard to find the start point for the Callywith Wood walk. Needs better signage for where it begins.

I came here with my small dog and we had a great time. Various trails for different activity levels and is never crowded :)

Lovely spot to take a walk even in the heat. Only 27° today! Dog loved jumping in and out the water. Need to pay for parking unless you are a member. And there is a well stocked cafe BUT it doesn't take cash. On the plus side VERY good coffee. Pathways nice and firm, and quite even. Well signposted routes. Great for prams, pushchairs and mobility scooters.
