The Gatehouse is a ground-floor conversion at Pencrennow Farm, within easy reach of Perranporth's three-mile stretch of sand. The single bedroom has a kingsize bed; there's a shower room, and an open-plan living space combining kitchen, dining and sitting areas. A patio with garden furniture opens from the cottage, enclosed within the courtyard.
You get bed linen, towels and heating included. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering—electric cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher all there. A shared laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is available on site. Parking for one car is private to the property. A pub sits within a mile of the cottage.
Perranporth itself has a beach bar and restaurant with live music, shops along the high street, and easy access to surf hire. Horse riding at Reen Manor is nearby. The coastal villages of Crantock and St. Agnes are close for craft shops and cliff walks, and Newquay—with its seven beaches, zoo, leisure centre and steam railway—is minutes away. The property does not permit smoking.

We were looking for somewhere to stay in Perranporth next year, so went to view these cottages. The owners were fabulous and very helpful, they showed us round all of the accommodation that would suit our needs. All of the cottages were beautiful, well laid out and stylishly furnished.

Stayed here in the wood shed for a week.It is beautiful.very very spaceous,clean with an amazing bathroom.couldnt have asked for more.It is on a country lane but a lovely walk into Perranporth.Highly recommend the Woodshed

Stayed at the gate house. Appeared clean with nice equipped kitchen. However had no information on how appliances worked! Oven easy to work.dishwasher we couldn't get to work. It went onto timer each time which didn't work either as time didn't come down. Asked for help to resolve. No one showed so guess it was broken. Light in bathroom broke took 24 hours to fix.Dvd was missing this was replaced within the hour. Nice quiet location with easy reach of town. Down a normal Cornish lane. We used Porthtowen beach most days as less crowded and easier to park(and cheaper parking) Sorry but we wouldn't return to Pencrennow cottages
