🏡 Self-Catering Cottage

Penrose

Photo: Jan

Penrose is a semi-detached cottage in the upper village of Boscastle, where the ground floor holds the main living areas and a bedroom with its own shower room, while upstairs sits a galleried bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Ground-floor living and dining space overlooks a south-facing garden and patio through patio doors, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and washing machine in the kitchen. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included; there is parking for two cars on site.

The cottage suits two couples or a small family. Boscastle itself has antique shops, a craft centre, restaurants and pubs within walking distance, plus the Witch's Museum and the harbour. The South West Coastal Path runs nearby, with cliff walks reaching Bossiney Cove's sandy beach, and the National Trust manages much of the surrounding coastline and the Valency Valley. Tintagel and its castle ruins are within reach, as are sandy beaches where you can arrange surfing or kayaking instruction. The village sits in an area designated outstanding natural beauty. Smoking is not permitted in the property.
