Fowey's working harbour and bobbing fishing boats are a short walk away, but Roof Tops sits back from the bustle on the quieter side of the village. The converted barn opens onto open countryside, with the Harbour Commissioners' activity visible across the water. A proper seaside base without the seafront noise.
The layout works around the building's character. Downstairs is the main living space—kitchen, dining and sitting areas all in one—with big windows taking in the view. Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and French doors onto a slate patio overlooking the garden. One bed is a king, the other can be configured as two singles. The enclosed garden has a lawn, patio furniture and a barbecue. Parking for two cars is private, at the property.
Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking. One dog is welcome. The village itself has a couple of pubs and a shop within walking distance; Fowey's restaurants, galleries and boat trips are nearby. Arrive after 4pm, depart by 10am.
