Shepherds Hut is a one-bedroom rural retreat suited to couples seeking privacy and relaxation. The single open-plan space combines living, dining and kitchen areas, with a king-size bedroom and ensuite shower. Underfloor heating, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all provided, so you arrive to a ready-made base. The hut sits on its own grounds near St Buryan, a village five miles from Penzance.
What sets this place apart is the private hot tub, positioned to take in coastal glimpses across the surrounding countryside. A decked area outside gives space for morning coffee or eating al fresco. Inside, the kitchen is equipped for self-catering. The location works well for exploring West Cornwall's beaches—St Loys Cove and Lamorna Cove are within reach on foot or short drive, as are Land's End and the Minack Theatre. The Southwest Coastal Path runs nearby. No smoking is permitted, and the property is for adults only.

I can't remember the last time I slept for 11 hours but I did here.The Hut is perfectly located next to streams that are constantly babbling and gave me a feeling of calm and tranquility.No light pollution and no noise except for the wind in the trees.Will return again.

Beautiful shepherds hut in wonderful location. Grace and Steve are truly lovely hosts. Everything you could possibly want to unwind and a prefect base to explore too.

We have just had a short break at this fantastic Sheppards Hut. Right from the communication before we arrived and the welcome we received from Grace & Steve everything was just perfect, the hut itself is totally wonderful & the setting just magical. Steve built the hut himself and what an amazing job he has done, the interior is just lovely, the space is really well designed and equipped with everything you could possibly need, the outside lights & fire pit make for a lovely evening sitting outside. I cannot recommend the Sheppards Hut highly enough & am sure we will be back. Thank you for a truly wonderful stay.

We have stayed in this gorgeous shepherds hut twice now and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to explore this special part of Cornwall. Steve and Grace are the most friendly welcoming hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. The hut is so quirky and is furnished and equipped to a very high standard to make your stay a very comfortable one. It is located in the stunning garden of Crean Mill and sits on its own little island, you can lie in bed and listen to the gurgling stream and the owls hooting in the woods. Heaven on earth! Absolutely highly recommended in every way. Dont just look! Get and book!!
