About St. Loy Camping
Traditional no-frills camping near the Cornwall coast? St. Loy Camping is a good choice for it – this small family-run site between Lamorna and Treen occupies a splendid spot for exploring Cornwall's western stretches. St. Loy Cove sits about a mile away through the woods, where you can pick up the South West Coast Path to Lamorna Cove eastward or venture west to Pedn Vounder, Porthgwarra and the incredible clifftop setting of the Minack Theatre.
Drive or cycle directly and you'll reach Porthcurno or the Minack in roughly 10 minutes, while Sennen Cove, Mousehole and Land's End are all within 15 minutes. With such riches nearby, facilities here stay deliberately simple – toilets, showers, an outdoor washing-up sink and drinking water cover the essentials, plus picnic benches near the footpath down to the sea.
Life is laidback, with kids, dogs, barbecues and campfires all permitted as long as you're sensible. A perfect base for walkers and explorers seeking peace over polish.

What visitors say
We stayed here in late August 2025 with two cars, a tent and a dog. For the time of year there was plenty of space to park up and not be too close to anyone else. There are plenty of toilets and showers however if you wake up too late you’ll have to wait a little bit to get to a shower. The owner is very friendly and will pull up to you once you’ve arrived to confirm your booking if you have one or you can pay in the spot too. For the price you can’t fault it, you get what you pay for.

Perfect for my one night stay. I don't particularly stay anywhere more than the one night as I tend to just travel around, so permitting that there's toilets and showers, I'm happy. However, at this particular camp site, I found that the shower block was exceptionally good and clean! The toilet is also clean! I think there was only the one male toilet on site, but I could be wrong. It is on a hill, but the higher up you park, the flatter the area becomes. I found the area to be spacious, but there were probably around 10 other campers on site, so it still felt spacious. It seemed like a good place out of the way but still close to local interesting areas.

Parked here yesterday for £2 all day to do a circular walk via St Loys Cove, Tater Du lighthouse, Lamorna and back. A beautiful day to do it and stunning scenery throughout.

Stayed for a couple of nights and so glad I did. Basic site but had at least 4 showers (clean & hot) toilets and washing up facilities. If you don’t need EHU so much better value than the other local campsites around. Really good access via St Loy woods onto the SW coast path. I did a coastal walk through Pedn Vounder, Porthcuro onto the Minack.
