The Captains House

Pendeen sits on Cornwall's north coast, where the landscape rises and falls dramatically toward the sea. The Captain's House stands at the edge of this rugged terrain, within steps of the Southwest Coast Path. The village itself is small and quiet; the Old Coastguard's Campsite lies nearby. This is working fishing country, with a landscape that has changed little in centuries.

The house holds four bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping eight. Downstairs there is a living room with a Smart TV, a kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob and dishwasher opening onto a garden, a dining area with a breakfast bar, a study, and a shower room. Upstairs: a bedroom with a zip-and-link super king bed (convertible to two singles), a king bed, and two double beds, plus a full bathroom with a bath and shower. Essentials like bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking; there is a washing machine and dryer for longer stays.

Outside, front and rear gardens have furniture and a barbecue. The real draw is the wood-fired hot tub for six, which sits private in the back garden. Three cars can park on the property. One dog is welcome. The house is yours alone for the duration of your stay, and the coast path entrance is a few steps away.
