Trevella

Photo: Trevella Holiday Park

Newquay and the north Cornish coast lie within easy reach of Trevella, a contemporary detached house arranged on two levels. The reverse-level layout puts the main living space upstairs, with the kitchen, dining and sitting areas enjoying countryside views. Three double bedrooms and two bathrooms mean six guests can spread out comfortably; one bedroom has its own en-suite, while the others share a family bathroom with both bath and shower, and a separate shower room provides additional convenience. A utility room helps manage beach kit and laundry during longer stays.

Off-street parking for two or three cars is on site. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and the kitchen is set up for self-catering. One well-behaved dog is welcome. The house does not permit smoking. Fistral Beach and Watergate Bay are straightforward day trips, as are stretches of the South West Coast Path. Newquay itself has family attractions, restaurants and a working harbour. Padstow, St Ives, the Eden Project and Bodmin Moor are all within reasonable driving distance for those planning longer excursions.

Trevella has kept it's high standards over the years. It is a very well kept and clean. A great place for kids with plenty of outdoor space. The lakes are great for fishing too. There are caravans for hire and camping space too. A great place for a family holiday.

Booked at a really reasonable price. Caravan looked new and was clean. Not a fan of the pool booking system however understand probably the easiest way to manage. Pool is very small. Great location, close to so many beautiful beaches. Close to Newquay and shops, we stocked up on essentials. There is a food van and small pub on site if needed. We will definitely be back, really impressed.

Beautiful campsite and great staff. Within the two weeks there we saw so much trouble on the site in the evening and never saw any staff onsite after 5pm. I believe they need security or someone walking around in the evening to observe the issue. Many dogs off lead and some with no collar. One pooed right outside our tent door and I stood in it. Saw arguments between other guests as people realised they can do as they please as no staff appeared present. I was very unhappy with this and even felt uncomfortable leaving our tent there in the day. It is a shame as staff that are there in day work very hard and it is such a beautiful site. It could do with shower temperatures being looked at and more washing machines, as there is only one in the main field but space for more. I was concerned with dogs off lead and cars driving fast through site. Update: It doesn't let you reply to campsites reply, but they are highly undersighting the trouble that goes on onsite. I saw no security at all in 2 weeks. It wasn't two people but multiple people throughout the entire sight and the 2 washing machines at reception are at static caravan section but there is 1 at the camping section which is a massive section. Everyone I saw had their dogs off lead, I walked in poo outside my tent! I saw people's dogs going at other dogs and people. People screaming across the entire site. We did not enjoy being here. The campsite put us in the middle of a group of families that were together also. We asked for help and they wanted us to move rather than deal with issues.

We're to started . Camp side look nice went arriving . Staff at reception were polite and helpful . That the good bit done . Stay in a gold + caravan . What a ... mess Bedrooms were dusty and dirty beds were very uncomfortable . kitchen was absolutely filthy with previous people's food still in the oven with stains and crumbs still on the worktop. and yhe fridge smell funny like gone off milk All the floors look like they haven't been hoovered or mop either. I also reported a member of staff for having a phone out in the public toilets ( there were campers and young children in there using showers and toilets ) what I found absolutely disgusting if not weird. when I reported this for the manager they just turn around and said they've all been checked. I also found there was other people on the campsite that had this problem as well with this staff member. !! Book for a week left the next day Never going back . . .

Visitors say this holiday park offers clean, well-maintained caravans and grounds, along with excellent facilities like fishing lakes, an outdoor pool, and crazy golf. They also highlight the friendly and helpful staff, well-stocked shop, and reasonable prices at the on-site pub.

Some reviews mention the showers can be cold.
