Looe's working harbour and broad beach draw visitors year-round, but Watersmeet occupies quieter ground just upstream, where the East and West rivers meet. This second-floor apartment sits attached to the owners' home, with its own entrance and a private terrace looking out over the estuary. The setting is genuinely coastal without the crush of the seafront.
Inside, two bedrooms and one bathroom serve couples or small families. One bedroom has a double bed; the other, two singles that can be zipped together. The open-plan living space includes a kitchen fitted for real cooking—electric oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer—and a sitting area with a 40-inch TV. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are covered. There is a courtyard garden with seating, and parking for one car on site, though the railway station sits just across the way if you prefer to leave the car behind.
The flat lanes down to Looe harbour are walkable, and the coastal path starts nearby for longer walks along the cliffs. A farm shop stocks local produce; the town has fish restaurants and a working market supplied by day boats. The Monkey Sanctuary, National Trust gardens, the Eden Project and Padstow are all within reach by car. This is a no-smoking property.
