Wheal Holan is a 200-year-old former tin miners' cottage in Pendeen, on the Land's End peninsula within a World Heritage Site and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The building retains granite walls, exposed beams and an inglenook fireplace, with wood burners providing heat and character to the living spaces. Two bedrooms sleep four: one double with an en-suite toilet, and one twin. A shower room serves the rest of the property. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, and wi-fi is included.
The cottage comes with parking for one car on site, plus road parking nearby. An enclosed front garden and rear courtyard with furniture provide outdoor space. Wi-fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are covered in the rental. No smoking indoors.
Pendeen is within reach of the South West Coastal Path, Pendeen Watch lighthouse, and numerous coves and sandy beaches. The village has three real ale pubs serving food. Geevor and Levant Tin Mines, both working museums with underground tours, are a short drive away. Distant views of the Atlantic and coastal cliffs towards St Ives and Land's End are visible from the property.
