Drovers Cottage is a stone semi-detached cottage across three floors in the market town of Tetbury. The building dates to the period when the town thrived on wool trading, and retains original character throughout. It sleeps six: three bedrooms comprise a king-size on the first floor, a double also on the first floor, and two single beds on the second floor. There are two bathrooms—one with bath and shower on the first floor, one ensuite shower room attached to the second bedroom.
The ground floor contains the kitchen, equipped for proper cooking with electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the usual appliances, plus a combined living and dining room with a woodburning stove and direct access to the garden. The enclosed back garden has a patio, furniture and barbecue. One dog is welcome at no extra charge. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial fuel for the stove and a welcome pack. Families with small children will find a travel cot, high chair and stairgate available.
Tetbury's shops, restaurants and cafes are within walking distance, and The Close Hotel stands nearby. There are six steps up to the entrance and four within the garden itself. Parking is on-road, arranged separately. Smoking is not permitted.
