About The Close Hotel
Long Street runs through the middle of Tetbury, and it's here, among the town's Cotswold stone buildings, that The Close Hotel sits back behind its own garden. The setting is quietly historic, with the surrounding countryside given over to walking and cycling routes, and golf courses within reach for those who want to venture out.
The hotel has 18 rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and the option of drinks brought up, and a bridal suite for those staying to marry at the property, which also serves as a wedding venue with meeting rooms available. Breakfast is served alongside a full restaurant and snack bar, and there's a bar for evening drinks, with outdoor seating in the garden when the weather allows. Kids' meals are catered for, and pets are welcome.
Beyond the garden walls, Tetbury offers its own pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance, and free WiFi and luggage storage at the hotel make it a straightforward base for exploring further into Gloucestershire.
