A campsite near Crickhowell
About Camp Crick
Just a ten-minute stroll from Crickhowell's independent shops and pubs, this eco-friendly pop-up site offers a proper off-grid escape in the gorgeous Usk Valley. Generously spaced pitches nestle within hedges, where resident tawny owls and buzzards patrol the skies and views stretch across to the Sugar Loaf and Table Mountain. The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal runs right past the fields, making it ideal for easy towpath cycling and walking, while mountain trails lead up toward Llangattock's rare floating bog.
Facilities lean deliberately minimal: compost loos with biodegradable roll provided, cold spring-water showers and washing-up stations (you'll need to boil it for drinking). Cars stay away from pitches to protect wildflowers and preserve the peace, though wheelbarrows and trailers help shift your kit. If chilly showers aren't your thing, the village pubs serving great food are mercifully close – and Crickhowell's cafés even closer on foot.

What visitors say
Immaculate caravan site with toilets & showers to be proud of!!! The site itself is brilliantly situated within easy walking distance to Crickhowell Town and the River Usk. A very enjoyable stay. Would advise taking notice of the short video on the website giving directions to the site. Very helpful when towing a caravan. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

First time back since it was bought by new owner. Much better spacing between putches and improved toilet blocks Friendly welcome. Could do with mirrors in the ensuite shower rooms. Otherwise really good improvements. Great walks and local shops.
