About Achray House Hotel & Lodges

A tasting menu and generous steaks have made Achray House Hotel & Lodges as much a dining destination as a place to stay, set on the shores of Loch Earn near Crieff. This is a small hotel, just nine rooms, so the welcome tends to be personal, with staff regularly praised for their attentiveness and warmth.

Rooms are en suite and comfortable, several looking out over the surrounding mountains, and extras like drinks in the room and room service add a touch of indulgence. The bar and restaurant sit at the heart of the property, with breakfast, packed lunches and a garden and outdoor seating area for warmer days. A bridal suite and wedding facilities make it a option for celebrations too, while accessible rooms, an electric vehicle charge point and free WiFi cover the practical bases. Pets are welcome, and free on-site parking is provided throughout.

Outside, the loch itself invites fishing and watersports, with walking and cycling routes nearby and a golf course within reach for those wanting a round after breakfast. Further pubs and restaurants sit close by for evenings when guests fancy a change of scene, though with the on-site kitchen's reputation, many won't feel the need to look far.

We had a lovely night here with friends. We stayed in one of the Garden rooms and it was lovely. The bed was the most comfiest bed ever. Stunning views of snow capped mountains. We had the A la Carte menu and the food was excellent and very well presented. Breakfast was also delicious all freshly prepared and cooked. The four of us have already booked for another stay and we can't wait to go back.

We had a fabulous time here. Dinner was fantastic and room very cosy. Laura was very welcoming and friendly. A bit disappointed with breakfast. They had run out of haggis and black pudding and we only got a half potato scone each!! We will certainly return.

This was our second visit and every bit as good as the first time. Wonderfully casual with fantastically friendly owners and staff. We choose the tasting menu and we were not disappointed. All dishes were beautifully presented and treated as good as they looked. Great breakfast too. We will definitely return.
