Maryport sits on Cumberland's coast where the Solway Firth opens out to the Irish Sea. Allonby Beach is nearby, and the village itself has a working harbour and local amenities. Gulls Hatch is a three-storey cottage sleeping four, set up to make the most of its setting—a second-floor living room is positioned to catch views out across the water and the village beyond.
The ground floor holds an open-plan living and dining space with a woodburner, plus a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs on the first floor are two bedrooms—one double, one twin—and a bathroom with bath and shower. A south-facing front garden with seating and furniture faces out to the view. One car can park in the drive, with additional off-street parking available. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, as is the first load of wood for the stove.
The cottage does not permit smoking. It suits couples, small families or friends looking for a base to explore the coast and surrounding countryside, or simply to spend time in the second-floor room watching the light change across the water.

Lovely cottage in a great setting. Well laid out with kitchen and dining on ground floor, 2 bedrooms and bathroom on 1st floor, and a huge lounge on the top floor. The lounge has wonderful views of the coast and the solway firth.
