Whitehaven's harbour sits within walking distance of Kingswood, a detached house in Cumberland where the town's shops, restaurants and attractions are readily accessible on foot. The coast and Lake District National Park lie close by, making this a practical base for exploring both seaside and fell country.
The property sleeps eight across four bedrooms: a kingsize with ensuite on the first floor, a double, a twin, and a bunk room. The main bathroom has a bath and walk-in shower. Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space centres on a woodburner and connects to a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—range cooker, dishwasher and all the essentials—with patio doors opening onto a lawned garden with decking. Parking for two cars is on site, with additional space on the road outside. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; logs for the woodburner are supplied too.
The garden has a sloping lawn and there are steps to both the entrance and within the garden itself. No smoking is permitted. This layout works well for multiple couples or extended families gathering together, with enough separate sleeping spaces and communal areas to suit different group dynamics.
