What visitors say
I don't know this part of the world well at all and found this campsite to be a perfect base to explore from. Reasonably priced, electric hook up available. The site is small and well maintained, 2 nice clean toilets, shower, covered washing up and waste area. The showers take a minimum of £1 which caught me on the hop a bit, but fortunately there was enough credit left on it for a quick go. I brought my bike and did the St Bees Coastal route - inspired by the map up in the loos! 10 minutes walk to Nethertown beach, and 20 minutes by bike to St Bees, less to Egremont. Nice friendly owner, very helpful. I would definitely come back if visiting this area again.

Beautiful little site, very quiet with horses for neighbours. It is adult only, the lanes are very narrow if you wanted to walk to the beach. Very relaxing stat here.

Nice quiet small campsite with basic facilities. Reasonably priced too. However you have to pay £1 for hot water for a shower which should have been included with the fee. Otherwise great place, which is close to St Bees.

Lucky to be local, called in to see if owner would update web site for their camping site, as no cafe, restaurant or garden centre close by now. However, never having stayed at the site, I do know it is flat, has a shower block, toilets and power, an excellent quiet site, close to the sea yet in the countryside. No longer caravan club.
