The cottage itself is compact and straightforward: a living room with a smart TV downstairs, a kitchen with a full cooker, and two bedrooms upstairs—one double and one with bunks—sharing a single bathroom. Heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all included. The back garden has furniture and a summerhouse with views across the fields; there's parking for two cars on site. One dog stays free. The property is non-smoking.

It works well for a couple with children, or friends sharing. Beach visits take around 20 minutes; the lakes are 25 minutes away; Maryport Aquarium lies 15 miles south.
