The Mouse House

The Mouse House sits in a quiet lane across from the medieval remains of Castell Rhuddlan. This two-bedroom cottage sleeps three and comes with the essentials covered: heating, electricity, wifi, and bed linen. One dog or cat stays at no extra cost, and there's an enclosed garden to use.

The ground floor is open-plan, with a living area featuring a woodburner, a kitchen fitted for proper cooking, and a conservatory opening onto the patio. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a single—and a bathroom with bath and shower. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. The stairs are steep and spiral in places.

Rhuddlan itself is walkable, with shops, pubs and restaurants along the high street. The surrounding countryside offers paths with views across the Vale of Clwyd toward the Denbigh Moors, and a nature reserve nearby where you might spot otters, pheasants and ducks. The property is non-smoking.
