About Clwyd View Touring Park

Tucked in the Vale of Clwyd near the medieval town of Rhuddlan, this family-run touring park makes a welcoming base for exploring North Wales. There's an on-site restaurant and café for evening meals when you don't fancy cooking, plus a play area to keep younger campers occupied, while the launderette and well-maintained facilities block keep things practical. The site's no-dogs policy ensures a quieter atmosphere that appeals to families and couples seeking a more tranquil pitch.

You're well positioned here for day trips along the coast to Rhyl and Prestatyn, or inland to the rugged peaks of Snowdonia, with local fishing, golf and country pubs all within easy reach. Rhuddlan's imposing castle is practically on the doorstep – an atmospheric spot for an evening stroll once you've pitched up.

Really enjoyed our stay again. Vivienne and family are really helpful and polite. Little mini playground for the younger ones. Toilet and showers ( electric so no chance of running out of hot water) are clean and tidy. Gated entrance so secured with a card which is given out initially. Picnic benches dotted about if you need one. The location is ideal if you want to be far enough out from town but close enough to amenities. All in all great stay and will be returning. 😁

A nice quiet site near the village and Rhuddlan castle. The couple that greeted us were lovely. Facilities were clean and well maintained. A nice play area that we could pitch right next to. Our granddaughters were pleased! Don't be put off by the flyover near the entrance. Traffic noise was minimal. The only downside was that the ground though level was very hard and pegging out wasn't easy. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely campsite very quiet and I’m a beautiful spot. The man and woman who run this site are stars very lovely couple and so friendly. Really good location for the beach and amusements and there’s a castle just across the bridge which is wonderful for site seeing. Would definitely visit again as the lovely couple who own this site made us feel very welcome. The price to stay was affordable and fair we’ve had a lovely weekend here. Thank you for having us x
